This a large size fin and is good for surfers 165 lbs to 200 lbs. It is a good choice when traveling and knowing you need a bigger fin for driving and making critical sections. The fcs website talks about open face turns, etc. For me I think about this fin for holding power in more powerful or hollow waves and would be a normal fin for someone 200 lbs. ( I am only 155 but I like the drive of a bigger fin)
good for short boards, fun shapes and hybrid shapes- not good for grom or fish type shapes
